1972 Datsun 510 (56k best of luck)

The blue 510? Yeah the SR20DE/VE combo is REALLY nice. I wish I could do it, really I'll be going with a more unique engine swap in the future ;-)

Though I did get my buckets and BMW lights all modified. Just need to get them in the car and work on the wiring.

yeah that blue 4 door. Guy wanted way too much money for it.
What is the difference between the bright and dim headlights?

I remember seeing a for sale thread on it, he was asking a bit to much.

The low beam is a projector housing with a 9006 bulb, will be better for HIDs. The highbeam is a standard 9005 beam headlight, but it isn't a projector, would be like putting the H4 kits into a dime. Hopefully can get some HIDs in them in the future.

Nice. I originally did the H4 upgrade, but I transferred them over to my 521 and forgot to remove them when I sold it. Figured I would go ahead with the projectors this time around.

Well BMW lights modified for the Dime, had to give them a quick test. Still need to install them into the Dime and do all the wiring.

Thank. Hopefully the SR will be rebuilt soon so we can get the KA in my baby. Figure do a test with the new motor with the fuel tank and temp wiring in the engine bay and see if she runs. Then make everything perminant and bolted up proper.

Got the BMW lights installed. Might have to massage the engine bay a little more, they are pretty long. Need to save up so I can convert them to a bi-xenon projector later. And for any JDM fans, the black car is a true RHD Nissan Pulsar GTI-R

Well haven't gotten to really do anything with her since I was dealing with moving from Indianapolis to Washington. At least I'm around more 510s, for easier parts access now. Definitely a Nissan driveway though, 2009 Nissan Cube (wifes), 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe (MILs) 2004 Nissan Frontier (Mine), 1972 Datsun 510 (mine, maybe son's in the future) I did get an Engine/trans installed before I left Indy, mix of S14 Engine/Header, S13 AEM Intake/Intake Manifold/Distributor/ECU/Wiring/Trans. Had to get her shipped from Indy to Washington, she got here a couple days ago. Now I've just going through electronics, making sure things still worked. Picked up a battery and charger. And stripping my door panels since they need to be redone. My son hasn't seen her in over a year, think he was more excited to see her than I was lol.

When she came in on the truck.

And of course playing with the BMW E34 Projects and highbeams. Need to pick up some HIDs when I have the money.

Lol, thanks me too. I was tired of the midwest. I love being able to go on a 5 minute walk and see real ocean/sound water in the Pugent Sound.

Well everything seems to be working except for the injectors. Need to get a test light and do some testing. I've got spark, I've got fuel pump, my relays are all up and working. Just no fuel.

Found out the problem for the injectors, I was suppose to tap the Black/Yellow wire going to the started to the Orange wire of the ECU. Little did I realize that there were TWO Black/Yellow wires, one to the starter and one to the wiper motor lol. Fixed it, got the right one tapped, it isn't pretty but it ran a bit. Didn't want to run to long since I don't have a radiator hooked up.

but they were still to long, got the wrong strut

Picked up new struts, comparing them extended and attempting to compress. Uses the same setup as above, but gets me nice and lower.

And how she sits, I can honestly rebuild them to go a few inches lower in the back if I wanted, but I think I'll be happy with this stance for while.

And trying to clean up some wiring. Still messy since I'm just tucking wires away right now, after she is driving for a while and I KNOW what wires are needed and what are not, I can cut and remove wires I don't need to clean up both the engine and chassis harness.

Just doing some BS work until my radiator stuff from summit, and gauges from speedhut get here. Was bored and had this old console sitting around. Not sure what it is from , but with a little work it fit right in. Just needs a cup holder for me bee......coffee.
