185/70R14 on 1999 Protege

Is anyone running 185/70R14 tires on their Proteges without any rubbing issues? I'm getting ready to put my winter tires on and already have a really good set from my Golf that will bolt right on.

I plan on it but thought someone out there might have already tried it and could tell me if I'm wasting my time or not. I'll let you know how it goes.

I have the same dilemma for the winter tires, I was to a shop and asked about a different tire size and they said as long as I don't carry a lot of weight in my car the tires will be okay. I found this link on which you can check your tire sizes for all 99 Protege models if that helps

I've had the 185/70R14 's on for about a week and have had no rubbing issues, even with 5 people in and I have noticeably more clearance than with the 175/65R14 's the previous owner had on it.
