Yesterday I installed a jy knuckle and new wheel bearing (3rd one in 2 months) after the viscous curb attack that bent the s*** out of everything. My initial test drive with the two trashed wheels gave me an odd "bounce" phenomena when driving, I would liken it to the feeling of riding in a car with cut springs.
Today, I decided to put my wife's Mazda5 wheels on since they were available (snows on hers now) to see if the bounce went away and to have safer wheels on the car. Bounce is still there, I suspect I killed my strut or spring on the curb. Anyway, thought you all would like to see what these wheels look like on a P5 (I haven't seen a P5 with them yet). Note the tires are bald 205/50/17's and are still almost an inch larger in diameter than new 195/50/16's, no abs so no worries. They clear with lots of room.
