my vote (27~28) is for my daily/city driving.. it's much higher than that on the highway however..

Well I've only gassed up twice...28.3 MPG with 2/3 highway driving...got 22.5 MPG last week doing all city driving, but I was revving to 4-5000 rpm also. We'll see how this week goes.

BTW...love the gas gauge. Mine is DEAD on. My Focus was so pessimistic, that the low fuel light meant I had 1/4 tank left! LMAO

since i changed my intake to the Injen CAI ive picked up about 20miles per tank. now im averaging about 325miles per tank. all city driving and its automatic.

i'm averaging about 27-28 mpg depending on how often my AC is on. with city only driving i get almost 27mpg. with freeway only driving, i get about 32.

~28 MPG on a auto/sportshift. Been mostly on highway with lights every mile or so and light traffic (Rt 1 in Jersey between New Brunswick and Princeton, if anyone knows what I'm talking about :) ). I once got 32 MPG keeping the RPMs between 2000-3000 and 60 MPH w/ no sportshift missing all the lights, and dipped to as low as 26 strictly on sportshift w higher revs on the same road.

im using cheap s***, and getting around 375-400 est miles per tank with the cel fix installed (finally evening out). whats that, around 28mpg?

89 octane, and depending on how i drive... 22-32, say for instance, after i get a ticket, its usually around 32 and when i got over the scare... itz back to 22, when i drag race, i go through about a 1/4 tank

I run the cheapest 87 I can find, and get 32.5 almost every tank.
I drive 140 miles round trip and about 50-60 of which are bumper to bumper traffic. I run my car pretty hard too, shifting pretty high and the highway speeds are about 75-80 mph.

Your gas millage will not really even out until you have around 5000 or so miles.

on my last trip i got 43 MPG. i was amazed!!! in the city i usually get 29-33mpg and thats with some tromping on the gas, i love the gas milage of this car way better then my jetta i had before this car

wow...that is so weird. Although my '03 P5 only has about 6300 miles on it, I am averaging 30-33 MPG....and I pretty much drive it like I stole it.

i'm getting around 22 on my autostick with regular (87 octane?) gas. i do mostly hard city driving. I just reccently hit 6k miles and have noticed a 2-4 mpg increase.

my problem with the 4 gears is that when i get on the highway just north of 80 mph i'm revving at almost 3500 rpm......i wish i had 5 gears and a clutch :(

I have a manual tranny ES, and I average 29-31 with half-half city-highway. Full tank highway will get me 32-33. Full tank city only will get me 25-27.
