Cx5 2014 automatic headlights question

Hello everyone, mzy last post was about a year back. I did indeed go with the advice here and bought a 2014 cx5. Its truly a great car and i love it. I came across a problem and im not sure whats wrong. The automatic headlights dont turn on for some reason during the day. Or they would turn on one time and not turn on another time. At the moment im running with standard headlights unless its night time then they work absolutey fine. I read somewhere it could be a sensor issue but i figured id ask here before i drive my car an hour away for the checkup.

Automatic headlights would turn off during the day and you should just have drls on.

This is the way it should work but the OP is mentioning that the headlights sometimes come on. He should check the sensitivity settings on the display. Still don't know why he would want the headlights on during the day...
