The Fronts are struts, and the rears are shocks. tirerack.com rockauto.com If you are hearing clunking it is good to do the front and rear sway bar bushings. B bsedgal Member : 5 Aug 25, 2017 #3 Who is telling you to get new all new struts? My mechanic mis-diagnosed the clunking sound as struts and thankfully I resisted that. Spent less than 20 bucks on both front and rear sway bar bushings (as MazdaDude mentioned) and fixed the issue.
