Usually you lose the several thousand cash-back or something when you do that though, no? At least, that's how it worked when I sold cars for Ford. Take the "$2000 back, or go 0% APR".
I have seen those offers on commercials and other ads so I know what you are talking about. In my specific case there were no other options like that. It was just the deals they had/have going on to clear out the 2016 stock it seems. I think the 2016.5's were like 2.5%-ish but when we did the math it didnt make sense to go with those as over the term of the financing it would have worked out to be like $2000 and on our GT-Tech it wasnt much of an upgrade.
I am sure there are all different offers across the US and Canada, depending on stock and sales numbers. I think we were just buying at the right time. Had this been back in May or something, there prob would have been at least a 1.5% rate if not more.
