Now up to 69, outstanding, thanks everyone!

We've started providing reliability stats for the CX-5 as well. So far, with a reported repair frequency of 25 repair trips per 100 cars per year, it's much better than average.

We'll have further updates in February and May. The more owners participate, the more precise these will be.

We've updated our reliability stats for the CX-5 to include owner experiences through March 31, 2013.


The reported repair frequency, 38 repair trips per 100 cars per year, is moderate.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2014 CX-5: 42, moderate
2013 CX-5: 28, moderate

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2013 CX-5: 84, < 1
