please help dont know where to pass amp power wire through firewall!

ive been looking but i dont have a clue how or where to poke the 4gauge wire throught the firewall btw i have a protege 2002 es NEED HEP PLEASE

auto or manual protege?

there is a rubber grommit that other wires go through. it is just above where the clutch pedal would be, or is. i used an exacto knife to put a hole in the side of it, and then passed the wire through. i think there is a how to explaining it somewhere.

i actaully wa trying to pry tht grommet off last night man i couldnt tongiht ill try again, but how did u pop it off? just a screw driver? and btw ya i got the 5 speed

i didnt pop it off at all. just got down underneath there, inside under the steering wheel. mine is an auto so i might have more room to work with.

ya i got it free wednesday, and ya my firends got a auto and alot more room to work with, tongiht ill finally be done with my sound system install cnt wait to here my car pound
