It has been quite sometime now since I had my MFactory LSD installed. Some of you have messaged me privately asking for a review or feedback.
More info can be found here. We use the 28 spline G series but MFactory designed the diff to work with both.

The install was straight forward for this LSD, I did it along with my clutch and flywheel. From what Ive read, this LSD does not need any trimming or modification to fit into our transmission. DO NOT quote me on that as it worked completely fine for me. I just had to remove a few gears.

It is a 1 way LSD so it doesnt lock up like lets say a KAAZ LSD (1.5 way) which is also 50% more in price and more maintenance with the clutch packs. IIRC, the LSD weights just as much with the open diff, that means there are no weight disadvantages or what not. The LSD worked well for me, it eliminates wheel spin on WOT that I used to get a lot, it helped me put down power a lot better and faster. The diff also help pull the car out of corners, not as well as a clutch diff, but a lot better than an open diff. The good part about the gear diff vs. a 1.5 or 2 way clutch diff is that you can still get the same lift off oversteer as before since it acts as an open when you lift off the gas. On the otherhand, the 1.5 way keep the front wheels partially locked even during deceleration, and that makes it harder to get the car to rotate off throttle. (I have driven a car with a 1.5 way clutch LSD) However, I do get wheel spin under suspension load or when one tire starts to get light. When I want to get on the throttle earlier, thats when the wheel spin comes. It might have to do with the setup I have, the bigger MS3 stock front bar. I will come back to that later on. Overall, I am happy with the performance, it definitely helped me get faster times because I can get on the power a lot harder and earlier. It did not affect the way the car drove like a clutch type LSD would do.
FYI, I can help set up a GB on this.
