That's the reason I needed it, my reverse lockout on the 3 was all chewed away... this one has a very small divot where the pin contacts, but it is still intact... I live in the SFV, you're way down south I think... the seller was mfquint, and he said he'd refund my money if it didn't work, so i'm waiting to hear back from him... So unless you wanna pay the $40 (or if he'll refund me $20, then I can take $20 from you for it)...
