Hey guys,

Im considering purchasing this brace that sits over the tunnel behind the front seats, but before going ahead, just seeing if anyone has a photo of it installed and did it make an difference in chassis rigidity?

This is it:

Any info would be great :)

Cheers

Marc , yes it would help in rigidity. I bought the same one off of ebay but have not had time to install it as of yet...

I would do the rear strut tower one first...

Yeah I'd buy alot of other things with the money. Like a rear strut tower bar.

But yes, it would help with rigidity, like Focus said. I'd be interested to see if it actually makes a noticeable difference.

I already have an AutoExe Rear Strut brace installed & have a Progress rear sway bar on the way :)

Yeah I could spend the money elsewhere (which is around $190aud incl shipping), but the car is being set up for more motorkhana work, so the more braces the better :p

...and buy a car without a huge hole in the trunk. I love my P5, but wagons will never be the business for track duty.

iv actully been looking at this aswell marc.
Reccon they would do a cheaper postage rate if we bought 2???

Thanks
Duncan

I was actually looking at those aswell, but are on the expensive side when shipping to Australia (around $300aud all up )

I'll be looking into this now too!

And I dont allow rear passengers, and the Fiance sits in the front :p
