I have a 2006 Mazda5. I need to replace the brake light bulb. I have removed the two screws but cannot get the tali light assembly to pull away from the body. I've tried pushing up, pushing down, rocking back and forth. I don't want to break it. It feels like something else is holding it in place. I've searched but cannot find any instructions. Help!

I will be scared if a mazda rookie tech will be following the instructions in
tha manual. Imagine them removing the 3rd row and side panels. They
will never be careful enough to put it back perfectly.
There has to be an easier way. SGT's suggestion of checking with
dealer might be the best way.
Here is what I found anyway.

The illustration does show only 2 screws. But there are
other holes in the frame. It could just be slots where parts of the assembly
fits in.
Good luck. Let us know what you find. take pictures.
In the ff: it does say "Direct bolt on design".
