Last night, I got a flat tire on my front passenger side of my 3...
I hit a pothole in my neighborhood straight on and it took the tire out. Worst part is I knew it was there but had forgotten about it.
I jacked the car up and removed the nuts. The nuts were impossible to get off, they were either tight or corroded b/c I had to stand on the wrench just to get them off.......
Then I tried to pull the tire off and it wouldn't even budge a millimetre! Argh, frustrated, I put the nuts back on and had to go home (luckily I was practically home already).
So I have to get it towed just to get a spare tire on and then go to my tire shop to get my winter tire fixed.
Anybody know why I couldn't have gotten the tire off? My guess is b/c it was corroded to the rotors... It was -15C outside, so I was getting cold pretty fast.
Any tips as to how to make it easier next time?
