yes, you can. My understanding though is that you can't do a regular vacuum controlled unit b/c of the turbo, you have to do an electronic one. Mine is made by Rostra, and i got an RF remote mount controller that i put in the little cubby on the left of the wheel. It works pretty good, not perfect, but its definitely reduced my amount of speeding tickets. I got it installed by a local shop for about $340 i think, including the upgraded controller (vs them drilling a hole to put in an extra stalk).
I know you can find the units online, but i don't know how much is involved with the install.
