Has anyone used the RockyMounts Noose SL or SLX bike rack on the factory rack on an '02 P5? They claim that the system works on virtually all factory racks without any special consideration for Mazda. It looks to be more cost effictive and less gaudy than the Yakima Q Clips system. Here's the info-

Those were my 2nd choice due to price vs. all the way high dollar ones. Aren't they about 90.00 a piece so about 180.00 to haul 2 bikes? I found some xport ones for about 140.00 for 2 bikes that attach to factory racks.
Here's the link: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=1470&subcategory_ID=4410 The thing I like about the rocky mounts is that you could put 3 up there & the back of it seems more securely mounted to factory rack where it would move around less. The back of the xports have a little 2" pedestal to make it even with the front that makes it have a little wobble to it ( at least until I customize it wider for the cargo box to fit in between the 2 bikes) All it would need to be completely stable is a flat bar to span between the rears but the rocky mounts are singles so they could be more flexible with other things on the rack + the rocky mounts may be color coded for your car.
