    why!!!!!

The msp isn't meant to be fast in a straight line.

    Which is more accurate?

I had my brother hold my laptop and check what the log was reading as I drove and watched the boost gauge. The gauge would hit 10 psi and the log would say like 7 or 8, but then if I held it, they would both read like 7 psi. Maybe one is just faster than the other in terms of response.

    Which is more accurate?

I have a digital prosport boost gauge which reads 10 psi when I'm in full boost. Then when I have my laptop hooked up to my SSAFC, it only reads 7psi. They are both tapped into the same vacuum source, and I have no codes for vacuum leaks or anything. My boost gauge prior to installing my boost...

Awesome, thanks, I'll try that and let you know how it works.

    Windows 8 with R4 software

I posted in the SSAFC thread, but figured I'd make a whole new post. Has anybody gotten the R4 software to work with Windows 8? It just gives me errors when I try to connect. It was working on my Windows 7 laptop, but since that died, and the only options now for laptops have Windows 8, I'm...

    AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

I had a windows 7 mini laptop, but that decided to stop working. When I upgraded, the only options were windows 8.

    AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Has anybody had any troubles with using the R4 software with Windows 8? At first I couldn't connect with my cable, but turns out that the cable drivers aren't Windows 8 compatible. Then I got a new cable, and then when I tried to connect, it tells me an error, something about being out of date...

    Stumbling/Sputtering Under Acceleration

I ended up putting some seafoam in the gas tank and it doesn't do it anymore. It still goes kinda rich though when I shift

    Stumbling/Sputtering Under Acceleration

Yeah, I knew that. I put some seafoam in the gas tank and I'm letting that run through. It only happens when I'm accelerating normally, or when I'm cruising at highway speeds.

    Stumbling/Sputtering Under Acceleration

The codes I have are P0140 and P0660

    Stumbling/Sputtering Under Acceleration

The secondary O2 is from the corksport exhaust being catless and having to install that no fouler thing which pulls the sensor out further

    Stumbling/Sputtering Under Acceleration

When driving under light throttle, the car stumbles and goes super lean. It hits 17.2 and loses all power, then it shoots to 10.2 afr. I've cleaned out the MAF and hasnt bad a difference. It seems to happen around the same amount of throttle. I have no codes other than my VTCS and secondary O2...

    Forge UNOS MBC Istalled

I finally got around to installing my Forge UNOS MBC last night. I bought it used from a buddy's 1.8T jetta, and after I installed it and took it for a test drive, it spiked to 15 psi (scared the s*** out of me) and then it never went past 10 psi, but I haven't really gotten on it for fear of...

    CEL issue

It will die if you don't have the MAF connected, the ecu will have no idea how much air is entering the engine, thus not know how much fuel to inject.

    CEL issue

The P0171 usually means a vacuum leak somewhere, check your lines

    Corn!?

So has anybody switched to e-85? I've got access to a bigger fuel pump, just need bigger injectors (I've got an SSAFC to control the . How possible would it be to hit the 250ish whp mark running e-85 with a stock motor?( I know it depends on a good tune as well) I would really like to make the...

    A couple questions...

For your second question, you MIGHT not need the spacer. I was worried about it, but after installing it, there's still plenty of room between the DP and the hose.

Where to put the vacuum line for boost gauge

You could have a boost leak somewhere. Check your intercooler piping, if it's still the plastic stuff, check for cracks, and if it's aftermarket, check the couplers.

    MSP Downpipe

Speedcircuit sells a 2.5" dp, but it says it won't fit with stock turbo setup. Don't know what you're setup is, but, but you could always modify it to work. It wouldn't be too bad for $250 if it still has the stock T25 flange on it.

    Stock Boost

I adjusted my blow off valve to a harder setting, hopefully that makes a difference.
