Thanks alot for the quick replys. I still think it would be worth while for the idea that u could probably boost the ever living hell outa the little thing and also have vvt and a very revy lil engine. Maybe hard but maybe worth it i'm still reading up on it. If u find anymore info...
Can anyone give me any info about it? I did some searches and didn't find much. I did find out it was a 1.5l that has VVT. This engine might could be worth while if it could be uped to maybe a 1.6 or even 1.8 and turboed. It could be a possible boost monster. Well if anyone has any info please...

Thanks for the replys. No the only reason the fs-de engine falls is because just that, the lack of fuel and timing and the major reason being the ecu letting up for safty matters. Any engine no matter what company it happens to be made by can be made to rev out and have large gains from it...
I have been reading alot and i am wondering how it could be done. I know to start we need to go through the whole drive train and pretty much any moving part has to be replaced with very light replacements. Starting with rods and pistons would probably need to be atleast aluminum if not titanium...

My best was a 16.003 at 86.3 mph. I was very impressed. I have whats in my sig which is CAI, 2.5 inch piping from first cat back to stock racing beat with the second cat and resonator taken out (thanks for the Video and idea Mazdamp3_18). It was a cool day at or around 60 degrees...
Yeah i drive the s*** outta my car aswell. Like TXMazdaSpeeder said its not hurting anything it just wore a hole throuth the p.o.s. plastic fender-well. Nothing bad at all.... I believe the wear in the back has gone through as much of the fender as it can so it doesn't rub at all anymore. But...

Thats something to add... My stock suspension has set in very well and looks lowered in the back and some in the front. But my back tires almost tuck. Its probably from many, many heavy trunk loads. But i gess thats just a btw..

I have 215/40's on the stock Racing Hearts and not lowered and both front and rear on driver side rub. The front only rubs when the wheel is totally turned and i never hear the rear but there is a clear whole worn through the plastic on the back.
Maybe we just go the weird ones....
