If you have the time to remove the bumper to access the brackets that hold the headlights in place, then it definitely will be much easier to work with. Yeah I was using the 35W kit, I had a similar 55W kit with the same issues that you are describing.

Good luck with the HIDs - great once you have them in, but like you said getting them in will cause both physical and emotional pain. Couple of recommendations: make sure you study the housing and match up the HID bulb before you go to place it in, as they have to match exactly. Then I assume...

Funny you mention that, a couple of years back when I lived in Southern NJ I was trying to sell the hood but no one ended up purchasing.

Yeah it looks great when it's wet...all the carbon fiber shows through like new. The bumper side markers are from Celica (2000-2001, I believe)

yanked out defective Sony Xplod head unit, rewired harness to new Kenwood unit and popped it in - Yay for being able to use functions of radio again, also red illumination goes nicely with factory interior lighting.

Well Sony Head Unit decided to take a dump!! Apparently this is common for this model...fml!! Ordered new Kenwood unit should be arriving in a couple of days...nothing like driving with 2 kids in the car and no music, plus getting to hear all the creaks and bumps a 2003 p5 makes (smash)

well tires are on, 3 of 4 shocks replaced - mechanic claims one rear shock had defective threads - now starts the battle between tirerack and installer about who is responsible...shoot me now!! (bang)

confused all of my co-workers today at the bank when UPS dropped off 4 new tires, now just waiting on shocks tomorrow and I can go get everything installed at the local shop - it will be nice to have tires without cupping wear on them!!

Not sure, but if they did I most likely did not register for it back when I had them installed. I'll check it out and keep my fingers crossed, thank you.
