Yea that's what I thought not your typical valve lash adjustment though. Are the shims ever needed replacement? Or is it just one of those things you do if you have the motor apart?

Gimmick

Electrical issues are a big pain in the ass to figure out sometimes. Give the dealer a chance to make it right. At least they are working with you and not giving you the cold shoulder saying deal with it.

Is it hot or cool outside? Is the car at operating temp?

Better off buying a used stock turbo then paying the labor to have the seals replaced

Yes you need to bleed the entire system. Air in it will give you bad pedal response and possibily the thumping you are feeling.

Open the gas cap and listen see if you hear the pump priming when you turn the key on

With those numbers i would just pull the head rather then risk doing any futher damage just to see if it will run. Your gonna have to pull it either way.

Yea id go ahead and throw those plugs and coils on it and see what happens. Do you have a hand pump or anything you could use to stick some hose into the cylinders and suck the fluid out with?

Hes got standing fluid in one cylinder and its not firing. Will flood the cylinder if there isnt spark to fire off the fuel. May not be his issue. Hes getting fuel either to much or no spark.
