I goofed. Fuse for Cig Lighter?

Fusible Link in back of cigarette lighter. Fuse Fixed it. The fuse (which I never found) was OK. There is a fusible link on the back of the cigarette lighter - it looks like a short piece of wire with black insulation - it's not wire. Soldering to either tab will melt this (you may not notice...

I goofed. Fuse for Cig Lighter?

I muscled it right out the front - it'll go. The black wire w/ white stripe is positive (I'm assuming - remember - it just stopped working on me so I may not be the guy to ask. . . And none of the fuses in the kick panel box are called cigarette light or auxillary or anything.

I goofed. Fuse for Cig Lighter?

I was just sitting there - hardwiring my Sirius Sportster to the back of the cigarette lighter - now it's dead. I don't have a manual and can't locate the fuse. Anybody know which one it is or if it's something else I f'ed up?

5000 miles on mine (bone stock) and I've been getting 31-33mpg - even with the snows on. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

GTech Competition Pro results hot off the presses

Me2 I just got one after reading this post - I got the GTech Pro for $49.00 on eBay. At that price everybody with a birth certificate should be required to have on. Does anybody have an accurate weight for a stock 2003.5? Somebody above said they had their car weighed but didn't say what it...

Great shots. So the only way to get to the filter for servicing is through the wheel well?

    Rear brake caliper.

Hmmmm. Brakework sucks. Maybe it is cocked in the bore? Try getting the puck all the way out of the caliper and cleaning everything up real good. Lube it with some fresh brake fluid and try to get it back in. Get as much fluid into the caliper before yur put the puck back in (less bleeding...

    Gobble Gobble

OK you got me interested. A few questions: *Is it easy to install - straight bolt-on? *Does it really give you 15 hp? *Does it hurt fuel mileage (I'm getting 30mpg! - all highway) *Are there any bad side-effects?

    Drive-thru carwash and the 2003.5 rear wing. . .

Yeah - about what I thought. I just found a hand wash place yesterday where you stay in the car and drive through. The washers just swarm your car and do a great job - kin of like the old cheerleader car washes - only no cheerleaders. $6.00 for a full wash! ($2.00 more if you want the tire...

If you could buy your car over again.... would you?

Yeah, I'd buy it again. With the rebates and all I ended up paying about $17K out the door. I get more compliments and turned heads with this car than I ever thought. It rails through corners and you don't see a million of them. The WRX is everywhere - you'd be one of many. The Speed is...

    Drive-thru carwash and the 2003.5 rear wing. . .

Anybody had any problems taking their 2003.5 MSP through an automated car wash? I'm wondering if that sensor/wheel thing on the air dryers - the one that runs up of the car - will catch or scratch the rear wing. It's too cold to wash by hand now!

    Possibility for huge HP gain

Mazda Technician (to self): Hmmmm, the entire cylinder area is destroyed - piston top holed, cylinder walls decimated, yet the cylinder head and valve area looks like new?!?! I wonder . . . I think I read about this on that Mazda forum. . .
