Was wondering if it is even worth doing any performance mods on my 96 protege LX 1.5L... The engine and tranny are in great shape - really goes pretty good for a little 1.5... I was thinking of re-routing the air filter box and putting on my K+N type cone filter.... What would be the easiest...

Ok so i got my hands on the workshop manual and found where the linkage bushings go - anyone have pics or info of this job? do i go at it from the inside of the car or underneath? heard it is a pretty easy job - i have some mechanical experience.....

linkage bushing? so i looked/called around and all i found was "linkage bushing". Is that the part i need? And how involved is this job - any suggestions on service manuals/tutorials in print or online>? thanks
