you're not going to benefit from going to 5-40. stick with 5-30 or go back down to the oem 5-20.

Go through all the settings and make sure something didn't change itself. I also have an 06 touring w/navi and one day the settings changed itself to avoid all major highways... it was wierd.

I got my K&N Drop in filter about 2 weeks after I got my 5. Acceleration seemed a bit noticeable but nothing impressive. I couldn't tell a difference in gas mileage though.

I'm using castrol syntec. Honestly, I just grabbed it because the store I was at didn't have any 5-20 mobile 1 full synthetic. I've just never changed over to mobile 1 because the castrol syntec works great... In my opinion, it's just personal preference and what oil people like to use...
