a couple shots from a race at Mazda Raceway last week, my first real attempt at panning/motion blur at a racetrack... these 2 were kind of "accidental" and i like how they turned out i was panning for the red Porsche and the white Porsche passed and caught the focus point this was...

about the only shot that turned out trying out Focus Blur, this is not a great shot by any means but i thought it was cool that i happened to catch the shock wave of the explosion in the smoke

a few shots from LeMans a couple weeks ago... forgot to post. i learned i need to work on my shutter speeds to get more motion blur, but the clouds kept coming and going and i was constantly adjusting... and also that i need something better than a 55-200 for this track...

Thanks guys, its been a long time in the works.... Going to Le Mans tomorrow at Mazda Raceway, wish i had had enough time to rent a nice telephoto lens for the event, oh well my 55-200 will have to do, pics to follow...
