Cut out a portion of the grille assembly underneath the hood, to open up the airflow to the snorkel. Cutting some of that plastic out now allows cold air to come through the front of the grill, up into the snorkel now. There's a link to a thread on another forum somewhere around here. Washed...

Did the grill mod this evening, and took it out for a spin to see if I could tell any difference. I noticed maybe just a hair quicker response/revving, and slightly smoother revving as well. But nothing earth shattering...

Last fill up, I got 29.11 mpg. That's probably 70/30 highway/city. I think I could have gotten it 30 or over if my wife hadn't driven it a couple of times. (No disrespect meant to her...she just has a lead foot on take offs.)

Heh. "Zoom Zoom" indeed! :) My sister had that song and sent it to me, and I slapped that song on my iPod. Yesterday, I took 3 of my coworkers in my car to a local park (creative brainstorming session for us), and I hit play on the iPod as we drove away. They all started cracking up. :D

Go for it. I just had my tinted, and I love it. Here in Ohio, we can tint the fronts, but it has to be 50%. My backs are 15%.

Which do you guys think is the better option: Nite Shades, or those smoke vinyl overlays?

50% on the driver and passenger windows, 15% on the back. 50 is the legal limit on the fronts...
