Funny about the timing of this article because just last week I was thinking about going back to Acura/Honda due to me not liking the experience at the Mazda dealerships. Now, at least I know I am not the only one who is not impressed.

Anybody have any concerns or problems with rattles after taking the whole dash apart?

After 8 months, I have yet to use the touchscreen even while parked.

I was all set to get the upgrade until I saw a you tube video on the install. I have major concerns about rattles after seeing that the whole dash has to be taken apart.

Love the interior design from the photos. Still dont know about the quality if the materials. Hate the exterior. Its too boxy for me. Wont necessarily call it ugly.

The vibration is by design. It's more or less haptic feedback similar to what is used in LKAS. The vibration occurs after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

From my understanding, the upgrade is free to the 2018's. If so, that works out great for Mazda for taking care of the 6. Mazda only sold 20K 6's compared to 93K CX-5's. That's less money out of Mazda's pocket while screwing over the buyers of it's highest volume seller. IMO, that's bad business...

I was talking about FIAT as a whole. The Grand Cherokee is 8 years old. I think that you are referring to the Cherokee which was redone in 2014. There are plans for a front end update in 2019. It will be 6 years old by then. They do have an all new Wrangler and upcoming Ram.

That's how I've always charged my phones. The only thing that I used the USB ports was for media. I assumed the everybody charged that way.
