I think the Bose in my 2016 sounds terrific, but I do agree that if you intend on upgrading to a custom stereo system you might want to go with the stock. Will be easier to fit amps and speakers to the non-Bose system.

Yeah, I found this out when I put my foot on the plastic bumper to tie my shoe. Left a nice little dent in it that I can still just barely see.

I've consistently gotten 33-35 mpg on stretches going eastbound from L.A. to Palm Springs (mostly light traffic, from 70-80 mph); going westbound from PS to L.A., I get about 3-4 mpg less.
