^Yup, the parking lights and turn signals are different bulbs. Check your fuse panel or owners manual for what controls the parking lights and check that fuse. On newer models those "parking lights" are the same as the daytime running lights.

There are lots of threads on here about the Advanced Key, but I'll just answer your question: If you only have one key right now, your outta luck doing it yourself, the dealer has to. If you have two keys right now, you can follow the instructions in post #69 above.

Yep, turbos are probably the future for the gasoline engine. Replace displacement with boost. Even Ferrari is going to a turbo engine for its new 488 GTB, and they dislike them (pretty funny how much they trash them actually). Mazda does have another option though, at least for the CX-9...

I haven't noticed too much engine braking when if full auto mode, unless the cruise control is on. The thing definitely drops gears if it gets going too fast (i suppose since it also can't control the brakes, as the system is the CX-9 is pretty basic). I'll have to keep an eye out for it...
