Anyone have a Solution for Uncomfortable Seats? Aftermarket Leather?

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that. By the way, I think the 8 way power seat on the GT only adds power lumbar vs manual lumbar in the Touring. I haven't actually looked at it live and in person. I made this assumption by looking at the specs of the two models

Also I'd even consider aftermarket seats.

Anyone have a Solution for Uncomfortable Seats? Aftermarket Leather?

I love my 2013 CX-5 Touring, need another car for the family, and I am looking at buying another CX-5. My main gripe with the CX-5 (my family's as well) is the uncomfortable seats. Whether a passenger or the driver, the seats provide very little support and have minimal padding. The...

How to add audible chirp to confirm locking of doors

I don't know how to do this, but wonder if anyone else does. I often lock the doors while walking away from the car, but without any audible noise, I am stuck locking again to hear the horn beep, which is too loud. Any ideas?

    Who else loves their CX-5?

I bought a used 2013 CX-5 for my daughter after careful reviews and selection. I've been driving it for a few months and will probably buy a 2014 for myself. The style, handling and mileage can't be beat. The 2013 does have that flat spot in acceleration when you try to speed up from 30...

    TomTom still bad?

The Tom Tom Navi in the Mazda comes out of the box with the worst settings in my opinion. I have worked with it to get it to work more like other navi systems to fix: 1. The 3d view switched to 2D with the map centered on the forward movement of the car 2. Turning off the automatically...

Improving the lumbar adjustment range on the CX-5 Touring (and possibly GT)

Thanks to the OP for this tip. One of my complaints (and my family's too) is the lack of comfort in the cx-5 seats. Even the driver seat is hard for me to get comfortable. I did this lumbar fix within 10 minutes and the seats much better. Now if I can only figure out how Mazda was able to...

Just got a brand new 2014 CX-5 Touring

What kind of MPG do you get with the 2014 tourings with fwd?

    MPG...whats going on here?

This is true, but when you go to the dealer, they want to say that all CX-5 get >30mpg. One even told me that the 2.5L gets the same as the 2.0L because the engine doesn't have to work as hard.

I need new headrest (or mod the OEMs)

Yes I agree. I am 6 feet tall and I can't sit up straight. I also would like to add that the headrests are so large that they obstruct the drivers view when looking out of the right side of the car backing out, etc...

    Rear visibility

All of the new style crossovers are very similar. They have the same body shape which restricts the visibility out of the rear cargo area windows. What I also noticed is similar to what someone else said. The headrests are huge and angled way forward in such a way that depending on how far...

What did you pay for your CX-5?

Just picked up a 2013 sky blue mica tour, no tech packages, no leather with 12,900 miles for $20,500 in Florida. I think the prices on used may be coming down.
