    Navigation on Canadian models

Thanks for the comments, i am still not decided on what I will do with this... I decided to spend on the Cargo Mat and Net for the moment which are proving useful.

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Maybe the problem is worst for others, or gets worst with time. The mirror vibration can be noisy with the window down and no music... If you notice it a little, might as well get it fixed while they are willing to do so. As for the hood, mine is showing a little bump where the hook is located...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

For the interested, I went to the dealer for my first maintenance and here is what I got with my little issues: - Mirror vibration/rattle: confirmed by dealer test drive, they ordered a replacement and reported to Mazda - Inside rattle: they tightened bolts in the "cow grill" and they secured...

Ok, thanks for pointing out what you found as PROs, I should probably wait to see if there will be any aftermarket unit that will fit the CX-5 since it is a simple add on to do.

    Thoughts about wheel upgrades

+1 I had winter tires before the act... no way all seasons can be safe here in Quebec.

    Navigation on Canadian models

Have you tried the Home-Work traffic feature? It seems nice from what I see in the manual... just wondering if it is any good. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, I understand you don't like the system and appreciate you take the time. I have seen others that likes it (maybe...

What about traffic data and how the GPS handles it (re-routes ? or you have to force it to do so).

    Navigation on Canadian models

That sounds annoying, I haven't been a big user of POIs on my other GPS, but again i'd take it out when going to a new place where I wasn't sure and didn't want to be running around in circles.

Thought I would read about the system in the manual and found ... refer to the separate “NAVIGATION SYSTEM Owner's Manual”. Anyone knows where I can get a soft copy of that manual ?

    Navigation on Canadian models

Ok, I already own a portable Garming Nuvi, I am not in love with it and hate to have to take it off each time I have to use it so I tend not to use it. I liked the fact that it would display on the cars radio and that it would integrate with the hands free. I have great success with the hands...

Weathertech Digital Fit Floor Liner - Now Available for CX-5

One of you mind posting a picture? I agree on the WT site it looks like the side of the mat could be annoying with large items when the seats are down... but it's hard to tell when they don't even show a picture of the one fitted for the CX-5, I hate one-fit-all pictures.

    Navigation on Canadian models

Anyone tried or have the Navigation on a Canadian model ? I am in Quebec and considering adding the accessory, but the price is pretty high, looking for some impressions on this feature.

    CX-5 USB errors.

I believe the Sansa has to be set to act like a USB thumb drive when connected to a USB port. I don't use mine anymore, can't recall what it was exactly but there is a setting for that. I'd say if you connect it to a PC and can browse it through USB with no software/driver installed it should...

    Octane Rating

I just came across this thread while my last fuel up was with 91 for the first time, I do believe my cx-5 has a little more pep than on 87... I also noticed what looks like better MPG, but again, different day, different driving, etc. I think I may go for 3 tanks and report back when I put some...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

It's the place where your left feet rest, most cars have a plastic plate there, the CX-5 is carpet... this is going to wear out fast with the winter I guess.
