Welcome to the Forum and enjoy your CX-9. Have almost 54,000 miles on mine and still love it. I lieu of a Roof mount DVD I would suggest either over the rear seat DVD player or one that replaces the headrest from the front seats and / or the Second row seats.

They are nice on the CX9. I like the lights on them and the wife likes them for getting in the car. They do help with doing things up on the Crossbars on top of the car too. Have had mine on the car for a couple of years now and have not had any problems with ground clearance at all. John

I can tell you from personal experience with my CX-9 there has been no lack of power if needed on the Hwy. Been across the Rocky's, Cascades and the Appalachians with no issues at all. Mine held hwy speed going up the mountains with no issues at all, really love the car and the way it handles...

Would also think that the lights activating would be a helpful thing when towing and at night as it would allow you to see trailer and hook up after dark. Could always put a sign on the back of the CX-9 that says 'When lights are on smile for the camera" :)
