From experience, I think it human detection is based on 2 things, 1) steering wheel movement and 2) sensors placed just above the 3 and 6 spokes of the steering wheel.

FYI - For my 2017 CX-5 that was experiencing lots of vibration while the engine was cold (very noticeable at sub -15 degree celsius temperature outside), my local Dealer said Mazda Canada's fix is to to replace the lower transmission mount, which they did under warranty.

From previous experience lowering cars, at a minimum, upgrade your front strut and rear shock to one that is meant for lowered cars/shorter springs/progressive spring rates. When you lower your car with springs without changing your OEM struts/shocks, the shorter/harder springs will wear out...

Hi, Has anybody been able to remove the license plate light bulb cover on a 2017/18? I've tried prying it off with a flat head screw driver (placing it between the plastic housing and the black rubber), but have not had any luck. Is there a trick to it? Thanks in advance for any advice
