    Hands on Wheel Warning

From experience, I think it human detection is based on 2 things, 1) steering wheel movement and 2) sensors placed just above the 3 and 6 spokes of the steering wheel.

New AA \ ACP Thread (with Poll)

Android Auto & Car Play Coming Confirmed Seems like 2018 and 2019, crappy part is it seems it might be something you have to pay extra for, vs download onto a USB stick-type upgrade. "Starting this fall, those current owners, if their car or SUV is equipped with the Mazda Connect system, will...

    Anyone notice this?

Yes, the cheap plastic on the sides of the center storage bin gets 'muffed' up for lack of a better word by the back of the front seat belt buckles. In my GS, the center plastic is black and 'muffed' white. I rubbed as much as I could off using like interior cleaners, but there is forever...

H&R Lowering Springs - What Other Changes Needed When You Install Them?

From previous experience lowering cars, at a minimum, upgrade your front strut and rear shock to one that is meant for lowered cars/shorter springs/progressive spring rates. When you lower your car with springs without changing your OEM struts/shocks, the shorter/harder springs will wear out...

    Mats and other things

I would recommend the OEM Premium floor mats if you want amazing coverage. But I noticed you're in San Fran., so you probably don't have to worry about crappy weather getting into the car (e.g. snow/slush). Anything aftermarket mat will probably work fine for your climate (i.e. that you cut to...

    License Plate Light Bulb Cover

Hi, Has anybody been able to remove the license plate light bulb cover on a 2017/18? I've tried prying it off with a flat head screw driver (placing it between the plastic housing and the black rubber), but have not had any luck. Is there a trick to it? Thanks in advance for any advice

    2017 CX-5 GT wipers suck

OK, so I will take pictures of the exact piece and process and post next time (probably in 4 months after winter) But using some pics off the internet (I couldn't find the exact adapter that comes with the Michelin) I'll try to explain/show. The actual problem is that the universal adapters...

    2017 CX-5 GT wipers suck

I agree the OEM wipers are no good. Solution: I was able to fit the Michelin Stealth blade (https://ca.michelin-lifestyle.com/en/michelin-stealth-wiper-blade-1) by trimming (cutting off) very small amounts of the plastic EZ Lock adapter that it comes with. Just used an exacto knife. Also...
