I was going to paint the bezel around the gauges when I was installing them. The bezel is permanently attached to the clear plastic that covers the gauges (mad)
Sorry for the long hiatus but finally snow-mageddon is almost over a the Mazdaspeed2 is getting ready for the 2014 racing season. Here are my gauges that everyone wants to see...
The inspiration for the gauges were the gauges from a Ferrari 458 Italia. I really like how they came out. Thanks...
I started to think what Mazdaspeed2 would be if Mazda were to produce one. I know that typically Mazdaspeed cars are turbo charged but I don't think they would turbo charge the Mazda2. I think Mazda would try to keep the Mazda2 as lightweight as possible and keep costs down by upgrading the...
Latest Update on 03/22/2014: Posted a pic of my White Gauges 2.0 from Font Motorsports and installed Corksport lightweight crankshaft pulley
Hello all! This is my way overdue Mazda2 build thread. I've been a member on the forums for quite sometime and receiving help and guidance from the many...
I agree with you 100%
I think the OP could save himself a lot of time and money by modifying the stock engine with a turbo or supercharger. I might possibly be building my own turbo kit for the 2 and it shouldn't cost me anymore than $5,000.
I can only imagine how bad the oil from my tranny is going to look. While I renew the oil in my transmission I'm also going to do a radiator flush and put in some 50/50 coolant.

This is awesome. I know once people start making power in the 2 that the diff will be a weak area. Do you have a link? And I'm guessing...
I have a highly modified Mazda2 and I have only managed to hit 123mph but that was on the freeway going downhill.
Anyway, I would also like to get my hands on some fender flares. I would like to try and stuff some 15x9 or 15x10 6UL's on my Mazda2 but it will require drastic modifications and...
Thanks! That's some really good advice. Looks like I'm going to have to go with some BG Synchro Shift II for my Mazda2.
My Mazda2 is approaching 15,000 miles but I also have done about 10 track days and a few autocross events. I believe it is time to replace the gear oil in my transmission.
I was going to fabricate my own bracket for the ECU and completely eliminate the factory air box. My plan is to keep the ECU in its current position but eliminate that ugly OEM intake box.
If I can duplicate a bracket that is of quality and put it together within a kit then I may be able to...
I ordered a Corksport Shift knob this week and I got it in the mail on Saturday. It's one more piece to my ever growing parts list for my Mazda2 stage 2 build that will be taking place this winter.
