Check Engine light on, but no code (2019 CX-5)

Had it checked; I "think" he said it was the coolant control valve. Fortunately for me, the fix is covered under my warranty. The only problem was, they couldn't get it done today, but they did give me a loaner car, which was a 3, and I am not a fan of driving cars where the seat is low. I...

Check Engine light on, but no code (2019 CX-5)

It is the yellow/amber light that looks like an engine. Does the "check engine" light look like something else on a CX-5? I just had the tires replaced in October. I am taking it in to the shop today to see what it is.

Check Engine light on, but no code (2019 CX-5)

No warnings. I also tried resetting the oil change; the light is still on.

Check Engine light on, but no code (2019 CX-5)

This morning, my 2019 CX-5's Check Engine light came on. In the afternoon, I took it to Auto Zone and had them hook up the tester, but it returned "No Diagnostic Trouble Codes." Assuming that it was done correctly, what could cause a "phantom" light, and is there any way to reset it to see if...

2019 CX-5 - Navigation System and SiriusXM problems

I am not entirely sure how I did it, but I'm pretty sure I had to run Mazda Toolbox, which requires that my car's navigation SD card be attached to the computer first (I assume your computer has an SD card reader - otherwise you obviously can't update the card), and then the update purchase...

There are two levels of update you can buy: just once, and three years' worth. I went with the three years one.

2019 CX-5 - Navigation System and SiriusXM problems

I discovered that I am expected to upload updates to the navigation data manually (and I don't get any free ones after 36 months), so, once I got the Toolbox software installed and got it to notice the SD card, I shelled out for an update to the card (which it turns out I needed, as the data was...

2019 CX-5 - Navigation System and SiriusXM problems

I have been having two problems with my 2019 CX-5. First, about two weeks ago, the navigation system shut down; all I get is a visual compass with a latitude / longitude / altitude, and a message saying that my car does not have a navigation system. Somehow, I don't think it was on a "31-month...

What's the real range of the key fob?

The manual for my 2019 CX-5 says that I shouldn't be able to open the doors or the liftgate using the key fob if I'm more than 0.8m (a little more than 2 1/2 feet) away from the car. However, when trying to figure out why my liftgate "mysteriously opens" (as seen in a few other threads here)...
