Lately I've been feeling that the steering doesnt feel quite right. It feels like after the car has been sitting for an hour and then I turn the car on and turn the steering wheel, there is a 1 second disconnect between turning the steering wheel and the wheels turning.
Once it gets going it...
Wish I could say this is normal but, I still have this problem. Has not gotten worse or better. This will definitely be my first and last Mazda
here is a thread I found but my vin is just slightly after the ones stated...
Do you have the TSB number. Today mine made a brake pad wear noise with 5k miles. As soon as I let the brakes go and coasted at 5 mph it would still make that noise. This is a 2016 manual sport in CA
I've had vibration in my clutch and brake pedals when decelerating from any gear under load from 3k to 2500 RPM plus lately it's been getting hard to engage into 1st or reverse. 5k miles total.
I wish there was a clutch pedal adjustment but the CX-5 doesn't have it
^ Thats exactly where I need to get to
I found this that is sort of helpful but from older models http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123828563-How-To-Remove-Dash-Vent-Shiny-Trim-Head-Unit-and-Center-Floor-Piece
Awesome idea. I've been thinking about this for awhile but when I felt around back there (to put the washer and nut) I didn't feel there was much space
I take mine to a detailing car wash and pay 34 buck but I wish I knew exactly what they are using on the plastic exterior trim because it keeps it nice and dark. I know they use meguiars but all their products are on unlabeled condiment bottles
^ thats what I thought as well but I know I'm not imagining it. It is somewhat repeatable but very subjective in the sense that the tech can say "I dont feel anything" turning the steering wheel since its not audible or felt in the passenger side.
Any ideas where to look? I checked for wheel...
^ haha I had it in the exact and I mean exact same spot. When I installed my tweeters I just cut it but for some odd reason it seems to have slightly returned....creepy
Buy a ScanGauge and put it in the middle right above the USB port. The you can read temp, Open closed loop, volts, Intake maf, and alot more. Plus you can change the color to match the lighting or not
