hello, just checking in. thought i would let you all know the MSP is still running strong, 138K miles.

I think my MSP is totaled. I was driving down a road when an opposing truck was driving in the other lane heading toward me and carrying a mattress which I could not see until it came out of the bed of his truck and I hit the mattress while it was still in the air. It broke my front bumper...

I don't know I really have been happy with my AEM dry filter. I purchased the AEM CAI in 2006.

Does anyone know the part number for the AEM air filter that fits their CAI for our cars? This sounds terrible and it is, I have had the same one on my car since it had 20k miles on it. and it has over 104k now. :( Its looking rough and I need to get it replaced.

Yeah, this platform is dying. When I bought my car in 2006 this forum was still very alive. Its a fact of life, the protege is dying. But that is what happens to every vehicle. they spark interest when they are new and then people and vendors move on to different/newer platforms.

The P5's have the markers in the bumper. But front grill and hood were also damaged.

2.5 is plenty for most people that own these cars.

So I hit a deer last night. The damage is not really bad but its still damage. Does anyone know where I can get a front bumper? Thank goodness the lip is ok but I am worried about being able to find a front bumper.

And its still half the speed of a WRX or EVO. :D

Mine finally rolled 100k this week. :-( I was actually going to sell mine for a truck, untill I drove a new one for a few days. I am not going to pay 800 bucks a month plus full coverage insurance for the next three years on a 40,000 dollar vehicle. Its not gonna happen JACK!

I have never had a problem out of my car that I did not cause. I think that most people just either abuse the s*** out of their car or they mod it and do not do a complete or thorough job installing the mods. And after they do that they blame the car.... BOTH of which I have witnessed first...

I am going to get a full sized truck. I am still researching exactly what I want. I don't want anything real nice, and I would like it to have vinyl floors instead of carpet. I want something that I can work out of. I bought the Msp when I was a young kid, I recently bought a house and my job...
