    Ok, Gas Mileage SUCKS!

Have had my CX-5 AWD since early April. Lived with the sub-par mpg initially thinking the car needed to be broken in. After 1000 miles, I was only getting 22.6mpg. Now, at 3034 (at the dealership for its 1st oil change), I'm still only getting 22.6mpg. Seriously disappointed in this thing...

    You choose what color?

Couldn't disagree more on the poster who spoke of the "flashy blue." Of all the colors in the book and what I saw in person, I fell in love with the Sky Blue Mica color from the pictures in the product brochure and the videos I had seen. When I took delivery of it, my goodness it looked...

    Complete CX-5 Wheel Specs

Can someone look at this 20" wheel and let me know if it would fit the CX-5? Can't get all of the measurements from the product page, but it looks like a sweet wheel! http://www.carid.com/helo-wheels/he866-black-chrome-450518.html Thanks!

    Anti hijack function

I haven't changed any settings on the car since I took delivery a couple of weeks ago, but I can confirm that once you start to accelerate, the doors auto-lock. When I turn off the ignition, the doors unlock automatically as well.

    Gas mileage question

**Updated 5/18/12** Ok, so I've only filled up the tank twice now. Here's the way I'm calcing it: There are 15 ticks on the fuel gauge and tank capacity is 15.3 gallons (if you look at it in quarters, the 1st 3 quarters have 3 ticks, last quarter has 6) - That comes out to 1.02 gals per tick...

    HR Springs now available

Why all the sniping? Want to lower your CX-5? Go for it! It's your ride and you want to feel proud of it (or else you wouldn't have bought it in the first place, right?). Whether or not the pluses/negatives are true, at the end of the day it's all about preference. Now to the poor man'x CX-5...

    Interior Lighting

CraM, (1) why did you go with 35w H11 HIDs rather than 55w HIDs since the stock halogen bulb is 55w? (2) where did you mount the ballast for the HID (if at all!) and do you need to secure the decoders for the DRLs or are they good without being secured? Thanks!

So you went with 35w hids? I thought the halogens were 55w?

CraM, which aftermarket HIDs did you get? Good to know I'd need the decoder kit for the DRLs!

My new CX-5 is already in the shop :(

It's actually rather simple how my height plays into it. At 6'3', my arm-to-arm length is just under 7", so logic dictates that with that kind of arm length, accidental presses of an allegedly ill-placed start button would be more the norm rather than the exception. Clearly, I don't have any...

My new CX-5 is already in the shop :(

Total non-issue. Anyone talking about the positioning of the wiper stalk and the push start button is exaggerating. I'm 6'3" and have no issues whatsoever with the placement.

Bluetooth disconnects and reconnects during phone calls

I started noticing this yesterday and today. Initially I thought it was my phone, but reading the comments here, looks like it's a significant issue. Will be contacting my dealership over the weekend to figure out what's going on.

Another thing, does anyone know if the Error Free Decoders are needed when swapping out Halogen bulbs with LEDs?
