Type 1 vs 2 has to do with a change they made on the manufacturing line in May 2013. I've been calling around to dealerships and the only way to get that shock mount is to buy the entire OEM shock. Was hoping to get Koni's (since they are about the same price as OEM), but since my shock mounts...

Anyone ever find aftermarket ones of these? My right rear is corroded and about to fall apart.

What did you find out about the issue? I'm getting a similar sound, but my issue is actually coming from the radio.

2014 w/ Bose radio here. Getting an annoying whine from the radio/speakers, but only when the station is not coming in 'HD'. When it is HD, all is fine. Some stations it is more noticeable than others. It does not seem like an alternator whine because it does not change in pitch based on engine...

Read more into the 2016 audio upgrade thread. Hoping the information there is still relevant for the 2014. The dash speakers seem pretty straight forward. 3x 3.5" with a desolder + solder on the wiring adapter. Still not much info on the front door woofers though. Doesn't look like many options...

I've been searching, but I haven't really found what I'm looking for. I have a 2014 with the bLose audio, and the driver and passenger door speakers are now rattling very bad even with low bass. I've got to swap them out with something as it sounds like the paper is torn, but definitely not...

So I just purchased and installed my WeatherTech's and they were very easy to install. I like them better than OEM because they look more seamless rather than just a visor taped onto the window. Oh, and $50 cheaper. The noise difference is hardly noticeable if any. Here are a few Pics i took...

They do have pretty strict rules about under 21 after a certain time. Especially for the bar area.
