I fell in love with my CX-5 again today. I went on a trip for the last week and the rental was a Mazda 2. What a POS.

3rd down on the right for "rear outlet" - it's 15A and it's only on when the ignition is on, so it's not constant. I didn't need a constant.

It's been maybe a month and a half under $2 here in Central Florida.

I did get it disconnected without cutting it, but how do you get it reconnected? If I got a replacement, how would I manage that?

So, I left a review explaining the fuse tap didn't sit by itself on the website for The Dashcam Store and after some discussion I was told - And was offered - So, I finally got around to doing that and wanted to show how it worked out, so others may opt for the other fuse tap and know it...

So the tape holding my fuse tap in place - that isn't an ideal solution. I can't speak enough at the effort thedashcamstore put into helping me out. I'm waiting on a tap replacement right now and will update once that's all done. They've sent me a new fuse tap with a crimp connector so I can...

I may have a solution, I've been working with thedashcamstore and according to their techs - Once my parts come in the mail and I do the switch, I can report back, but this seems like a pretty reasonable explanation.

Maybe, but I prefer stick to auto in the first place and I'm only 30, I didn't even learn to drive on a manual.

That's a huge reason I couldn't consider any Nissan - CVT. I hated it. It doesn't feel like driving. 2016 US CX-5 doesn't offer CVT.

So you did the welding? Do you weld a lot? You might want to get that inspected by an experienced welder before relying on it.

Yeah, I put an LED bulb in the hatch, but the light is always blocked if you're actually standing there doing anything in the cargo area. The modified bulb mentioned above, I don't quite understand it. The 12V in the cargo area is still always-on.

With the 2016 cargo light being moved onto the hatch from the side of the cargo wall, would the modified bulb mentioned above still work? I'm really wanting to add some lighting in to the cargo area, but I'm not sure if I should go through the 12V or use the modified bulb approach.

I find with the location of the light, no matter what I do, my body will block it from lighting very well. I'm considering How-To-Install-LED-Strips-in-CX5-Cargo-Area

No disrespect guys, but do you want to create a politics thread for discussing these views? They seem to pop up on a lot of threads (that I read) and it gets difficult to distinguish which posts of yours I should pay attention to, as you both also give valuable contributions on the topics...
