    WTB: Stock P5 Exhaust

Wife says the Magnaflow is too loud for our expected baby. I gave up arguing. Need muffler w/tip. Resonator and pipe preferred, too.

    What will break??

Sway bar endlinks for sure. The rest of the stock parts (non-wear) have held up for me.

23,000 miles on my twiggy stix and they're still running strong. It's been awhile since I've checked in due to work being rough, so I thought that I'd put a voucher in for the durability that I've seen thus far. Automatic stock ECU has adjusted and I no longer get any loping idle that was...

Random creepy guys make me lose faith in Humanity.

I've been away from the boards for awhile (works been hell), so naturally, I feel inclined to put in my 2 cents? 3 minutes into that situation, there should have been a call to the cops. Most importantly, it's good to hear that you're OK.

I'll see if I can get some pictures tonight. But if you take a look at your UDP (unless RR changed it), the tooth plate is secured to the pulley by 3-4 small allen bolts. For those bolts to be able to hold the plate on, the plate has to have some holes in it. It is these bolt holes that were...

Twiggy Sticks Install, tuning and results thread

The R&R UDP has a stock pulley that has the "tooth plate" bolted too it. The holes that the bolts went through were wearing on the tooth plate and thus there was an incessant rattling coming from it. It was something that I was hoping to fix sooner, but getting the pulley off can be a b****...

Twiggy Sticks Install, tuning and results thread

Just as an FYI - after months of trying to figure out my misfire problem (it was present before the cams went in, but got worse afterward), I finally got my misfire problem taken care of. It was my UDP and had nothing to do with the cams. I put the stock pulley back on and I'm driving fine...

    UDP Problem

After removing the UDP, there is a noticeable difference at the low end. I don't think that my experience is typical and would put another UDP on in a heartbeat. I've gotta see if I can get mine fixed or if I'm going to buy a brand new one.

    UDP Problem

I have a feeling that the UDP was the source of my misfires. Prior to putting the stock pulley back on, I was having misfires between 4k and redline. 350 miles now back on the stock pulley and no misfires whatsoever and I've been driving it hard.

    UDP Problem

Actually it looks as though the teeth were in the correct place, however, the toothed plate was rattling quite a bit. When I took it off, the holes where the plate was bolted to the pulley had worn quite a bit and the plate is loose - hence the rattling. I'm going to send a pic to RR to see...

    UDP Problem

Thanks for the help, guys. I decided to eyeball it up against the stock pulley, too. However, I decided to take the UDP off and put the stock pulley back on to see if this was the cause of my multiple misfires. If I go a couple hundred miles on the stock pulley and I get no misfires, I may...

    UDP Problem

So where does the notch in the toothed ring need to go if the cams are at TTC? I think that mine may have a timing issue and I think that this might be the reason.
