Hello, i did this mod myself, it's just plug and play. The rear garnish with the mazda emblem must be removed and it's a pain put doable in maybe 2 or 3 hours tops

Shouldn't you tint your Windows instead? sounds like too much of a hassle

you are right, mine were already weak from the previous attempt in which i broke one tip inside.

damn, broke one of the metal tips again, will have to order a new K015-V7-481 kit

does it open more than that? the cable feels like it's about to break again if i apply pressure to it

i can't for the life of me, push the cables inside this harness, i already opened as shown in the picture but they won't go fully in. What im i doing wrong?

do both white harnesses have to be opened or just the wide one?

Did u manage to solve the issue? i brought back my steering wheel controls back to working order, and i would like to try again to install the wiring underneath the steering column, but since my car is japanese like yours i might have the same issue you have.

It is not labeled as rumble sound, it is clearly labeled as vibration. I'm pretty sure my steering wheel vibrates, sound alert is an option too. My car is japan built, don't know about the US version.

Don't know about you, but it definetly vibrates on my 2016 cx-5.
