Beard, The 2-filter design is on my '06 with manual climate control (and we don't have rear-air in '06) so I'm thinking that this is just the design for all filters, and not specific to the rear air... I haven't heard anything about an additional filter for rear air out here, though, so I think...

Tried to rent gauges here in Wisconsin, and 2 stores I went to said they can't rent them here. There's pretty stringent regulations on environmental-type stuff by the state's Dept of Natural Resources (DNR).

Final diagnosis is a Black Swan. I don't have refrigerant gauges, so I took it in to have a look just at a local tire place for an A/C check, and freon levels are fine. The problem? Broken connector on the compressor, causing an intermittent electrical short. So we ripped off the connector...

Sorry to revive an old post, but Opus, was the freon low as well, or just the TSB issue... I'm experiencing similar symptoms, but haven't checked pressure or for freezing lines yet. (started on vacation in TN, persisting now that I'm home, but it's been humid).

Ok, I'm looking at adding additional outlets around the car for secondary fans... if you've seen some of my other threads, my daughter gets car-sick and the lack of rear air is problematic... So I want to do this right, and I want to wire into the switch panel to the left of the steering wheel...

also for side skirts, the frame piece underneath doesn't have the same mounting locations for the snap-in plastic holders... so you can't take sills off an existing car. The dealer add-on is actually a different piece to be able to accommodate different mounting. (06-10)
