My GTI did that and re-calibrating the throttle body fixed it for about a month (I have vagcom). One of the reason I got the new car was to not have to deal with that kinda stuff. Thats probably my only real "nag" with this car.

I have this going on too, and my opinion is that I *believe* it may be the torque converter shifting first before the normal shifts. Its not all the time, but just cruising it seems to do it. Its not thrilling me as I've driven manuals for my last 3 cars due to automatics doing these things, and...

Ok, since buying my 2016 GT in August, I put around 3500 miles on it already. Been paying attention to the mileage as hey, thats why I bought this over something else. I drive 80% highways. Seems like mileage is all over the place...yet the odd thing I seem to get the best mileage with 5 people...

Ive had the same issue with my walk away locks on a 2016, and in some cases I think it may be the door bouncing in the seal triggering the door closed switch twice possibly.

The one I'm using is the suction cup model pictured above...only I have it on the far left edge of the windshield. I'm left handed and can only hear on the left side so I seem to be left-everything. Always a risk of my phone flying out the window but the way this is I dont think it would happen...

So the car mount actually works pretty good...may just rock that for now and see if I like it long term.

Got my Findways in today - seems to be pretty nice and look like factory pieces! I'm sure the weathertechs and others may be a lot more durable but for the price and the look they can't be beat. I will say the back seat piece isn't perfect - the hump in the middle appears to be slightly too...

I have a "Topeak Ridercase" on my phone, so it has a kickstand and sliding mount in the back - can be used for bicycles but I also use it for my motorcycle so I have GPS. I wanted to see if I can wedge a plate or something in...

Anyone have a pic of what the radio slot looks like with the trim piece removed? Curious as I may try to rig up a cell phone mount to the left of the radio (2016 gt). For now I just got a windshield mount.

One idea in regards to the dead pedal issue - not sure if Harbor Freight sells the same stuff in other areas, but my local one has what I guess I could call "stair" grips or "pedal" grips - basically thick rubber pads with an imprinted tread that can be used on tools, or anything that you can...

Wow so glad you posted the Findway ones - I wasn't too thrilled with any of the options (due to the rubbery/plasticy look) but the finders look awesome, just placed my order for a set!

That search certainly won't help me get this done...in fact be kinda counter-productive depending on how you look at it LOL. I found a couple places nearby that I have calls into, and if not I'll def check out shadesofgraytint. Thanks!
