lol spooling on such a small turbo if it had one? My current vehicle has about the same amount of throttle lag as the 2.5L did. Drive by wire isn't the most responsive thing on these.

Nope lol.
Wife wanted to be typical suburban mom and have third row/captains chairs.
The seats are way more comfortable on a 12 hr trip than the cx5 too.
Buuuuuut ridiculous gas guzzler.

The primary reasons I got rid of my cx5 were a. My wife got an escalade so I didn't see the point of a small SUV and b. The more compelling reason was I missed having any semblance of torque/hp. Overall not a bad vehicle, but a better 0-60 would have kept me in it.

LED is definitely there OEM. The Escalade had it years ago on their Platinum package. The new units are direct driver/lens combinations and are insanely bright. The new BMW/Mercedes/Jaguar ones are insane and put all else to shame. I've never seen such a sharp cutoff on ALL sides of the beam. It...
I'm thinking of just retrofitting some projectors in there. It looks easy enough with the mount. My CTS before had projectors and the cutoff/beam was very wide and sharp. The CX5 beam is gnarly. Not super important, so I'll spend some time and look at the mounting bracket and order something...
I think I can get to it behind the wheel well - I had somewhat full access when I installed the new bulbs earlier. I just didn't have time to adjust, they're far too low for my liking right now.
Thanks, I will look!
Did a search and didn't find this:
How do you adjust the fog lights up/down?
On my CTS it had a screw hole recessed on top of the fogs that let you adjust them up/down with a hex key. I didn't see anything like this when I looked. Is it on the back side, or behind the shroud?
thanks.
How did the backup camera wire in? Is there a prefab harness? Also I assume you set your car settings before you yanked the stock unit since you can't change anything anymore?
After playing with the lights I decided to only use one light. 6w I'd relatively low power and should be fine. Just need to get a festoon adapter and wire it in.
So I know there are a few LED replacements for the back light. I think placement is terrible, and brightness is worse. If I put my backpack under the cargo net on the left, it blocks all the light to the rest of the trunk.
I am thinking of wiring up my own cargo lights and using the feed from...
