    HARDCORE e-brake sticking in cold

also, does the car pull to one side when driving regularly...depending on the severity of your problem that's a good way to determine if it's a seizing caliper...if it doesn't pull to one side that doesn't rule that out, but if it does then it tells you it's the caliper not the e-brake...also...

    HARDCORE e-brake sticking in cold

a seized rotor doesn't mean the car won't drive...but it'll present the same symptoms as your e-brake sticking...it just means that the caliper could be partially stuck engaged, and seized there

    HARDCORE e-brake sticking in cold

I totally see your dilemma with remote start in cold areas, so I hope no one tries to flame you for that without taking that into account but while I don't have any tips if your e-brake is simply sticking...you might want to check to see if it's not your rear calipers seizing from old...

Question about downshifting MS3, double-clutching needed?

the reason you are NOT (and I mean -NOT-) supposed to shift into first gear at speeds above 20ish mph is because despite what most people think the transmission is still spinning when the clutch is disengaged the transmission consists of three shafts: the input shaft, the lay shaft, and the...

Thinking of turbocharging your P5? Here's a guide for getting started...

couldn't answer the exact size you need...but as for the mazda 6 filter being the same I doubt that, I believe you have that confused with the mazda 626, which used the same 2.0L FS engine as the protege from 93-02 also according to K&N's oil filter application list it looks like the 6 is not...

wtb: clutch and msp radiator/smic mounting brackets

hey just like the title says, I need the two upper mounting brackets that hold the top of the MSP radiator and smic in place...I really don't care if it has the gromets in it, but obviously they would be ideal even in crappy shape (note: I need the msp ones, the p5 ones are different) I also...

    Protge321's Turbo Build

absolutely not the gasket is so you don't need to use RTV, if you are going to use RTV then why would you need the gasket? you would use one or the other

    Protge321's Turbo Build

damian: the cork gasket is reusable...it's not a pressurized seal, it's not a high tolerance seal, it's just there to stop oil from leaking out of the pan...and the cork gasket does just as good as a job as RTV without the mess, the prep, and the 24 hour seal time (if you use the real RTV...
