1st oil change at 1,200 miles. The every 4,000 miles or 4 months. I know that it is alot shorter then what is recommended, but changeging oil more frequently never hurt anything and I'm not worried about the $35 it takes me to change it.

That's a real good idea. I have an extra integrated tailight for my motorcycle. It's an LED, so, I might have to look at changing the lights out or making something.

I've had an idea to change the lighting on the rear of the Cx-5. When the rear lights are on in the dark it looks like the lighting should wrap around the vehicle to me. It doesn't do this now because of the turn signal. I am wondering if there is a type of switch back that will illuminate the...

We had Luminar 20% put on the front two front windows and then did a sunstrip at 2 1/2%.

Thank you Madar. This gives me some good information. Generally on any unibody vehicle I've had, I cannot get a jack and a stand next to it. I would usually rely some place on the subframe. Thank you again for your imput.

I am wondering if anyone has found a place to put jack stands under the CX-5. I have lifted the vehicle with a jack at the pinch welds, but am wondering where to place jack stands. I feel they are a lot safer then just a jack. When I did the "knock" test on the underside everything sounds hollow...

I completely agree about the windshields in the Cx-5. To me it seems very brittle. I have had to have 3 rockchips filled in the last 6 months. None of the chips have been on the interstate or even at a speed greater then 45mph.

We traded a 2004 Honda Accord 4dr 5spd. We got the Cx-5 because it is the best vehicle on the market for a small family that can use the AWD for the price bar none. Plus it is fun to drive. It has a personality. There are so many vehicles out there that feels just a cage on wheels.
