    Clunking noise when braking...

cjones28, have you tried another Mazda dealer? Let them know you know of others who have had this problem and the TSB-replacing the pads with the new updated shims-has helped cure the problem.

    Clunking noise when braking...

Okay so I had the front brake pads replaced as per the TSB and no more noise from the brakes. My dealer covered everything under warranty, including the front brake service. We'll see after driving it a while if the noise returns. :)

    Clunking noise when braking...

My CX-7 is doing the same. I had it looked at by my dealer. They said the front brake pad shims were worn out. So they have ordered the parts for the front brake squeal-TSB. They are going to replace the front pads along with the new update shims, and perform a brake service, all under warranty...

    Edmonton Dealers - the rundown

My advice would be to stay away from Weber (Eriksen Mazda). You see Weber was bought out by Eriksen late last year. They have gone through some changes that have not been great, the staff don't seem to care like they did before. And with the repitation Eriksen has, well I don't see it getting...

OPINIONS: Klacking noise from front end when turning

Emgee, my CX-7 also does this when cold. When it warms up a bit, after 10 minutes of driving, the noise stops. I have heard of this before, the cv boot itself can freeze up, once it warms up, noise is gone. Most times I can not duplicate it if the vehicle has been driven, only after being parked...

    Winter tire thread :)

I had the Nokian SUV WR's installed a few weeks ago. I went with these after reading some reviews on some tire websites. I was not going to go another winter with the Bridgestones. I too was worried about the wear question, however after discussing it with the Kal Tire representative, and...

    2008 Aero Package

Canadians, DO NOT BUY the Aero Package from your Canadian Mazda dealer! Mazda Canada just listed the Aero Package on their website under the "2008 CX-7 Accessory List", however the list price is $677.71! Wow are Canadians being ripped off! I purchased this same kit from Montgomery...

Anyone Try This IPod Adapter Yet???

There should be a small metal plate that came with your kit. It should be in a plastic bag along with two machine screws. This plate is used to secure the connector to your head unit. Instructions from e-bay; "Step 3: After you have identified the factory MD plug from the bottom of your radio...

    Winter tire thread :)

Mazda3, how are the Nokian's in summer driving conditions? How has the wear been? I too will be replacing the stock Bridgestones with something else in a couple of weeks or so. I have heard good things about the Nokian's. Could you post pics of yours? Thanks!(flash)

Well, not impressed with Mazda Canada's customer service. After seeing this post, and seeing the part available in the USA, I e-mailed Mazda Canada to get some information on this part, this is the wonderful reply I received back; We appreciate your interest in Mazda. We regret not to be able...
