This likely won't help as I believe it turns off both the DRLs and halos. And I'm not even sure if it will work on the 17 CX-5. This procedure works for several Mazda models produced over the past few years.

Have had ours for a year and love it. The fit is perfect. Only small issue is that it must be removed in order to use the 3rd row seats, but we don't use the third row anyway.

Turns out that Mazda decided to change the Window Switches in the mid-year 2010 CX-9s - I guess to save money (what, a buck?). So I bought their most expensive offering, loaded to the MAX, and they decide to cut the little things that just make Mazda look cheep. Here's the change: Oh well...

Yup, window lock was the first thing I checked. The window switches on each window do work (open & close the windows), and even the window lock works. Just no switch lights. Well it's good to know that there "should" be lights, I guess. I'll fiddle a bit tonight and see if there's anything...
