Were you planning on doing anything other than the external wet sump to help with oiling? There have been a few discussions as to whether or not the motor could survive long at that rpm. Did your friend do anything with the parts? Did he have the same goal in mind?

What size? Check this thread, there are plenty or 3rd gen Protege's in there to give you and idea. Granted they are on the extreme side of things. You could also check Willtheyfit.com to help figure things out for ya.

Wings are Sand Mica, you would need to paint them.
